National Irish Safety Organisation Awards 2014

On Friday October 3rd, the Jones Engineering Group received the Distinction Award at the 23rd All Ireland Occupational Safety Awards. This is a great achievement and in particular in maintaining this award consecutively.

The National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) is a national non-profit membership based organisation promoting occupational health and safety in Ireland.

The Fab 24 De-Install project at the Intel Ireland Campus located in Leixlip as a joint entry level by Intel and the Jones Engineering Group also won a Distinction Award. To achieve these awards Jones Engineering Group demonstrated the existence of a proactive health and safety management system with evidence of strong management leadership, of continual improvement, health and safety management system reviews and superior performance.

The awards were presented to Declan Grady on behalf of Jones Engineering Group and Conor Fennessy on behalf of Intel-JEG by NISO President Pauric Corrigan, Mairead McGuinness Vice President of the European Parliament, and Jimmy Fenton, NISG (Northern Ireland Safety Group) at a special award ceremony at the Mullingar Park Hotel in Co. Westmeath.
