Cork CIF calls out for Construction Workers

This year will see 1,500 new jobs created in the Construction sector in Cork. This is not hard to believe with 1,900,000 square foot of office space already approved for planning in the city and suburbs, and critical infrastructure set to be developed over the coming years.

Cork has developed and continues to develop as a hub for first class infrastructure, pharmaceutical & bio-pharmaceutical clusters, one million square foot of office space for inward investors as well as education, research & development centres in UCC & CIT.

Cork leads the way with the first rail & road tunnels  in the country as well as a new airport terminal and port facilities that keep the county connected, nationally and internationally.

The CIF has produced a fantastic video calling-out to all those in the construction sector and beyond to help the continued development of Cork. It promotes their new website http://cifjobs.ie/ which is a comprehensive resource for people already located in Ireland as well as those living abroad looking for new opportunities.

Make sure you don’t miss the news section, you’ll spot an interview with our very own Richard Thompson, an Industrial Plumber working with H.A. O’Neil where he speaks about his time in Perth, Western Australia and what made him return to Ireland. http://cifjobs.ie/2017/03/home-work-richard-thompson-industrial-plumber-working-ha-oneill-tells-us-time-perth-western-australia/
