This year’s Ireland Skills Competition was hosted by Cork Institute of Technology between 7th and 10th December 2015.

Jones Engineering Group was well represented with three competitors taking part in two separate disciplines.

Gary Conroy took part in the Electrical Installation section while Peter Whittle and Aaron Cassells took part in the Plumbing section.

The projects they had to complete were a real test of their skills and endurance and this could be seen by the fact that none of the six competitors in the Plumbing section were able to totally finish the scope within the allotted twenty hours.
