World Skills Winner Reception
Jones Engineering Group recently hosted a reception at the Clyde Court Hotel in Dublin. This event was to honour Ciaran Coady who won a prestigious Gold Medal for Plumbing at the World Skills Olympics in Leipzig, Germany this year.
This outstanding achievement reflects the overall mission of the company which is to provide the best possible training to our apprentices to ensure that Jones Engineering Group maintains its long standing tradition of providing exceptional quality of work to our clients.

In addition the Group has established an overall award fort he outstanding apprentice of the year in honour of Chris Jones, our Chairman, who passed away in June 2013. Chris was a major force in the development and support of apprentice training within the group and in the wider construction industry. This year the Chris Jones memorial cup was presented to William O’Reagan (O’Sheas Electrical).
At present the Group is the largest trainer of Mechanical and Electrical apprentices in Ireland, with almost 200 craft apprentices in training at any one time. The level of skill and quality among these apprentices ensure that choosing the overall winners was a tough task.
