Company Activity

At Jones, we recognise the growing awareness around the demand for responsible business behaviour with issues relating to sustainability, ethics and respect for all of our stakeholders. We are extremely passionate about culture, diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace and recognise the impacts that they have on both their environment and the society in which they operate.

World Quality Week 2022

World Quality Week 2022 has come to an end and we want to say a big thanks to all our staff for their fantastic participation. The theme this year was Quality Conscience: doing the right thing and we couldn’t be prouder of all our departments and project site teams across the group who got involved in our Quality Conversation Starters.

To complement the WQW22 themes, a series of posters were distributed to all sites and offices including our Quality Conversation Starters and accompanying guidance notes. A SharePoint page was also created which housed various WQW22 resources including our Jones Engineering WQW22 Video, downloadable posters and Quality e-Handbooks for Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation and Fire Protection.

Over the course of the week, we also ran a photo competition which offered a prize for the best photograph submitted that showcased one of the daily WQW22 themes.

Tommy Darcy was a photo competition winner. Pictured above is Damien Whelan (Dublin) showing Jerwin Gulles (Philippines) a passed coupon by Q.A.

At Jones Engineering we encourage our people to seek out opportunities for improvement in their surroundings and make small incremental changes as part of their daily work. These small steps, building on each other over time, will lead to the ongoing improvement and success of our company.
