At Jones, we recognise the growing awareness around the demand for responsible business behaviour with issues relating to sustainability, ethics and respect for all of our stakeholders. We are extremely passionate about culture, diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace and recognise the impacts that they have on both their environment and the society in which they operate.

Jones Engineering attend National Diversity and Inclusion Awards 2026

On the 6th of February, the Irish Centre of Diversity held their annual National Diversity & Inclusion Awards with several of our team in attendance. The aim of this award ceremony is to shine a light on businesses and individuals who are going above and beyond, setting the benchmark for Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.

At the ceremony, hosted by the vibrant Brendan Courtney, we were delighted to sponsor the Company of the Year Award. Carmel Walsh, our Chief of People, presented PTSB with the highly coveted prize. PTSB are the first retail bank in Ireland to receive this honour, acknowledging the recent advancements they’ve made in community engagement. Many congratulations to them!

Jones is an equal opportunities employer, meaning we don’t discriminate based on an employee’s background, experience or self-identification. We chose to celebrate each other’s differences and use these experiences to think more efficiently and creatively. The Irish Centre of Diversity has recognised this, and we currently hold a Silver Accreditation for our efforts. The Silver Accreditation is given to organisations that amplify the voices of their employees and take their diverse workforce into consideration when making decisions.

We strive to continue addressing imbalances in the construction industry, ensuring Jones is a safe space for all.
