Jones Engineering Services & UK based ExVeritas operate the first and only licensed CompEx training centre in Ireland. ExVeritas are acknowledged experts in the field of explosion prevention and a leading UK CompEx Notified Body with UKAS Accreditation for Hazardous Area Certification to EN60079-14 as well as being an experienced CompEx Training Centre. ExVeritas have over 250 years’ collective experience in CompEx and Ex Training & Certification. ExVeritas are also an IECEx accredited Test Laboratory. Our combined aim is to provide hazardous area competency based assessment training solutions locally, in the Irish market.
Within our training facilities in Little Island, Co. Cork, we offer a comfortable learning experience in a safe environment, with fully equipped workshops for hands on training and assessments which include both practical and theoretical assessments. These courses help ensure industry safety levels are maintained and increased. Peadar Walsh is Director of the Calibration Services Division of Jones Engineering with overall responsibility for all Calibration projects both in Ireland and overseas. He joined the company in 1981 as an Apprentice.
Peadar has worked on a number of major projects throughout Ireland and internationally across a number of sectors but with a particular focus on Life Science and Power and Energy projects.
Peadar was instrumental in Jones Engineering opening Ireland’s first and only “CompEx” training centre in association with our UK training partners “ExVeritas” in 2015. He oversees the centres operations within our training facilities in Little Island.
