Unrivalled experience installing Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Protection services throughout the major hospitals in Ireland, both public and private. We have been working on hospital projects since the 1920’s.
We understand how these complex systems work and early contractor involvement allows us to use innovative processes to streamline the installation works. We are particularly experienced with installing multiple theatres. We have worked on a number of hospital operating theatres including the Hermitage Clinic which has 5 operating theatres including 2 of ultra clean type, 2 radiotherapy units, MRI and CT scan facilities and a full medical gas system.
We have carried out new, upgrade and extension projects on CSSD suites all over Ireland. Typical services provided to CSSD Suites include; autoclave units, clean steam generators, steam boilers, RO plant and all associated pipe work, ventilation, water services, s/s waste pipe work, washer units, medical gases, ventilation, s/s waste pipe work and services to locker rooms, sterile stores and non-sterile stores.
Hospital laboratories perform a comprehensive range of services including testing, diagnostics, screenings, transfusions and analysis. There are strict guidelines to ensure the highest achievable quality of all tests performed. We have worked on a number of hospital laboratories including Waterford Regional Hospital which is where the vast majority of the laboratory services for the South Eastern area are located.
While the term “hospital bed” can refer to the actual bed, the term “bed” is also used to describe the capacity for the number of patients. We have worked on some of the largest healthcare projects in Ireland including: Mater Adult Hospital – 600 beds, New Children’s Hospital – 380 beds, St. Vincent’s Private Hospital – 290 beds, National Rehabilitation Hospital – 120 beds and Letterkenny General Hospital – 76 beds.
Acute care settings include emergency department, intensive care, coronary care, cardiology, neonatal intensive care, and many general areas where the patient could become acutely unwell. Acute hospitals therefore require a broad range of Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Protection services. Just some of the acute hospitals we have worked on include; St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Mater Hospital, Letterkenny General Hospital, Bon Secours, Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin and Waterford Regional Hospital.
Uninterrupted power is a crucial element of patient care. Whether it’s inside the exam room or at the nurses’ station, UPS systems safeguard against equipment damage, power interruptions, system errors and other power supply malfunctions that could compromise patient comfort, safety, or data. We completed the design and build works for the Mater New Adult Hospital which included full redundancy and no single point of failure.
