Company Activity

At Jones, we recognise the growing awareness around the demand for responsible business behaviour with issues relating to sustainability, ethics and respect for all of our stakeholders. We are extremely passionate about culture, diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace and recognise the impacts that they have on both their environment and the society in which they operate.

Moving up the ladder

Let’s raise our caps to Declan Quinn and Eoin O’Connor who celebrated their graduation from the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Services Management programme with Munster Technological University on 25th May.

Both Declan and Eoin who have been working with Jones Engineering since 1998 were among the 6 committed students who completed the course, although up to 14 had originally applied.

At Jones Engineering we have an annual training budget of €2million and offer individuals the opportunity to begin and grow their careers with us by encouraging continuous professional development. This industry-led programme chaired by the Construction Industry Federation and developed by MTU is geared towards people who have finished an apprenticeship, have experience in the industry and are looking to gain a college degree. This is an internationally recognised qualification and applicants do not need to be working on projects based in Ireland in order to complete the course. The key benefits for the apprentices include gaining valuable ‘on the job experience’ and great career opportunities.
