Limerick Prison
Limerick Prison is a closed, medium security prison for adult males and females. It is the committal prison for males for counties Clare, Limerick and Tipperary and for females for all six Munster counties and has the capacity for 220 males and 28 females. We are completing full mechanical, electrical & fire protection services to the B-Wing extension, a new standalone female prison and the new probation building.
