We completed the mechanical services installation in this 7 storey office development in Grand Canal Dock.  This energy efficient building provides a mixed mode ventilation system. Mechanical and natural ventilation working in harmony providing a comfortable, consistent thermal environment.

A large central atrium maximises natural light while minimising solar glare, mixed mode ventilation provides occupants with an increased sense of control of their indoor environment, while the sustainable design reduces energy consumption and carbon emissions.

The mechanical services included water services, rainwater installation, soils & wastes, heating system, chilled water system, extensive fan coil unit installation, smoke rated car park extract, kitchen services and a building management controls system integrating with a building façade system.

What We Did at Riverside 1

Since 2008 we have provided a complete building services maintenance package – mechanical, electrical and fire protection. We provide a 24-Hour emergency call-out service, 365 days a year. As required we engage and supervise specialist building services sub-contractors in a seamless manner, maintaining a single point of contact with our client. We provide in-house design / technical support directly to the client for minor project works.

Maintenance reports are compiled and issued periodically to the client, together with proposals for achieving optimum operating performance within the building.
