UL Sports Arena
100+ piece equipment cardio centre. The 3330sqm, 1500 seat Indoor Arena has a 60m indoor sprint track and three lane 225m jogging track. The college’s swimming pool measures 50m x 25m and has the following facilities: Sauna, Steam Room, Shower & Changing Facilities, Squad Rooms, Lockers facilities. The college also has a Floodlit synthetic grass park with two soccer pitches, one rugby pitch and a GAA pitch. These come with a Reception Area, eight changing rooms, two squad meeting rooms and the Pavilion Bar & Restaurant.
We completed the mechanical services installation to the sports arena which included a 50m swimming pool, cardio fitness centre and sports hall. 2no. Gas fired boilers of approx 100kw each. 1no. Gas fired CHP of 100kw elec and 167kw thermal output. The Peak manpower on this project was 20.
