Company Activity

At Jones, we recognise the growing awareness around the demand for responsible business behaviour with issues relating to sustainability, ethics and respect for all of our stakeholders. We are extremely passionate about culture, diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace and recognise the impacts that they have on both their environment and the society in which they operate.

Rapatac Media Room Launch

Inspiring the next generation has always been our goal, and that is why we are extremely proud to support Rapatac in Gävle, Sweden! Rapatac is a community built on inspiring young people through promoting education and learning. It welcomes individuals from the age of 6-18 years old to develop their skills while engaging in activities in the areas of technology, culture and media, physical activity, sustainability, and environment.

On Tuesday 12th April we had a very exciting event to inaugurate the launch of the new Jones Engineering Media Room in Rapatac Gävle. We were joined by several notable speakers including Per Bill, Governor of Gävleborg County, for the grand opening.

Jones Engineering continues to build on our tradition of community support through strategic partnerships, while inspiring the next generation and promoting engineering to all. This state-of-the-art media room aims to stimulate development by providing the young people of Gävle with the resources needed to build a more sustainable future.

Thank you to everyone involved in the renovation of the Media Room in Rapatac Gävle, and a special thanks to our sponsors; DVS, CRAMO, Excel Redstone, GävleReklam, SW Ventilation & Insulation Ltd and Jan Janssens & Company. We would also like to extend our gratitude to all the Rapatac volunteers, parents, and the young people themselves for all their hard work and enthusiasm to learn.
