Jones Engineering has a strong commitment to sustainability, driven by an unwavering ambition to improve, as we continue to deliver major projects both in Ireland and abroad.

With the launch of our fourth annual Responsible Business Report, reflecting on data collected throughout 2025, we reaffirm our ongoing efforts to remain mindful of our environmental impact and implement sustainability best practices, which in turn, will provide lasting value and help retain our people, win works, and deliver long-term benefits for our clients.  

In 2024, we launched our “WayForward” strategy, which outlines our near-term sustainability goals for the group. Although the strategy details our ambitions over the next five years, in 2025, Jones Engineering made substantial strides towards accomplishing our strategic objectives. These included achieving the Investors in Diversity Silver Accreditation and finalising our Responsible Sourcing Strategy. Some other key takeaways from our 2025 Report include an 11% increase in gender diversity across the group, and a rise of 26% in community investment, with €795,213 being provided to initiatives locally and internationally.  

Throughout the year, we have achieved many internationally recognised accreditations for our efforts in diversity and inclusion, climate action, and responsible sourcing. Aoife O’Donnell, Group Head of Sustainability commented that, “collective efforts from our teams and partners has resulted in improved scores from third party sustainability rating frameworks,” which underscores that Jones Engineering’s sustainability efforts extend beyond internal initiatives, earning external recognition for the implementation of sustainability best practices. 

In 2026, we will continue to deliver on our WayForward Strategy and dedication to sustainability, growing towards a more sustainable future for all, together.
