Congratulations to Team Jones who collected the Digital BIM Initiative Award, at this year’s Irish Building and Design Awards at the InterContinental, Dublin this week.

We are extremely proud of this achievement and recognise this would not be feasible without the innovation and dedication of our incredible BIM team, who have developed a first-of-its-kind process eliminating data loss through automation and system integration with leading ventilation manufacturers leading the fabrication of these parts.

At Jones Engineering we have been leading the way in BIM for over 15 years and this is evident through our achievement of the BSI Kitemark for BS EN ISO 19650 parts 1 and 2. Following a successful audit in 2021 we are the first Irish engineering contractor to hold a BSI Kitemark for BIM (Design and Construction) certificate against ISO 19650 that covers Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Protection systems. These awards and certificates demonstrate that Jones BIM processes, procedures, and management systems provide our clients with confidence and comfort, knowing the project will be developed using cutting-edge technology, implemented through proven accredited SMPs, by a team who has a strategic mindset and are passionate to evolve BIM in the construction industry.
