ISO 22301:2019 is a rigorous third-party independent assessment of the international standard for Business Continuity Management (BCM). It is the world’s first international standard for implementing and maintaining an effective business continuity plan, enabling an organization to have a more effective response and a quicker recovery, thereby reducing any impact on people, products and ultimately the bottom line.

James Crask, Convenor of the ISO group of experts that developed the standard, said it brings together some of the world’s best practice to help organisations of any kind respond to, and recover from, disruptions effectively. “A resilient organization is one that is able to adapt to change, is aware of where its vulnerabilities lie and has plans in place to respond should things go wrong,” he said.

The ability of an organization to continue operating during a disruption has never been more important. Uncertainty has become certain in the current climate. This certification is an assurance to our clients, suppliers, regulators and other stakeholders that we are committed to minimising any potential harm in the event of significant business disruption. Our business continuity plan (BCP) includes a collection of resources, actions, procedures, and information, designed to maintain essential functions in the event of a disaster or other major disruption.
