We are thrilled to announce the successful opening of our new office in Gävle Sweden. The event, which took place on 2nd June, marked a significant milestone for Jones Engineering as we expand our footprint into the vibrant Swedish region. Jones have operated in the Nordic region since 2015 and this move bolsters our commitment to our European operations.

The opening ceremony took place in front of many long-standing clients and dignitaries including Barbara Jones, Ambassador of Ireland to the Kingdom of Sweden, Goran Arnell, Municipal Director & CEO of the Municipality of Gavle and Julia Cederstrand, Deputy Mayor as well as some of the Jones Engineering employees who have recently relocated to work across the region.
Ray Greene, Director at Jones Engineering said, “Today marks a new chapter. With the opening of this office, we are not just expanding our geographic footprint; we are embedding ourselves in the fabric of Swedish society. Gävle will become a focal point for our operations in the region, a hub from which we will radiate innovation, collaboration, and growth. This office, and more importantly, the people within it, will serve all our Swedish operations, spanning from Malmo to Skellefteå.

Throughout the evening, we celebrated the strong partnerships we’ve forged with local businesses, organizations, and the Gavle community. We expressed our deep gratitude for the warm welcome and support extended to us by the Swedish nation, emphasizing our commitment to becoming an integral part of the local fabric.
