Jones Engineering showcases at ESB Science Blast Event in Dublin
Jones Engineering was proud to host a stand at the ESB Science Blast event which took place from Monday 3 March to Thursday 6 March at the RDS in Dublin. This dynamic event is dedicated to inspiring young minds to explore innovative careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

As a leader in the engineering sector, Jones Engineering remains committed to driving inclusivity and excellence throughout the industry. The company hosted an interactive exhibition which offered the attendees an initial insight into the exciting and rewarding world of engineering. Jones Engineering continues to build a diverse and forward-thinking workforce, paving the way for the next generation of mechanical and electrical engineers.

Carmel Walsh, Chief People Officer at Jones Engineering, remarked, “Our involvement in the ESB Science Blast event underscores our commitment to education and training in STEM. We are excited to connect with aspiring engineers and showcase the wide array of opportunities available within our industry.”
Jones Engineering currently employs 300 apprentices and more than 100 graduate engineers. The recent launch of a state-of-the-art apprentice training centre in Carlow, coupled with strategic partnerships with leading educational institutions, highlights the company’s ongoing dedication to nurturing talent and innovation.

Attendees of ESB Science Blast had the chance to experience engaging speaker sessions, interactive competitions, and live demonstrations that illustrate how engineering innovation is shaping a brighter future. Prior to the event, we encouraged the kids of our colleagues to enter a competition to design our ESB Science Blast stand. The overall winner was Zach English featured above with his design.
