Mater Hospital Mission Awareness Week 2020
This year, Mission Awareness Week in the Mater Hospital saw a very special award presented to the Jones Engineering Maintenance Team. Each member was presented with an exclusively designed commemorative medal as an acknowledgement of their contribution to the pandemic response.
A special letter from Michael D. Higgins, President of Ireland, was included expressing his thanks and acknowledgement of the exceptional professionalism, courage and dedication of all those working in the hospital. Ensuring the day to day operations run smoothly for our frontline staff was and is a critical step in our battle against Covid 19.
We have all had to adapt to new work practices and it has been a steep learning curve but we are very proud of our teams who have have risen to the challenge by overcoming obstacles safely in accordance with current guidelines.
